Singapore has so much to offer to tourists who want to escape their life for a little while and enjoy some time with their family and friends. Probably the busiest area in the country (as far as holidays are concerned) is Sentosa.
With its many attractions, you can spend a few days here to experience some of the best destinations in Singapore. Here are a few activities and places you must not miss when you go to Sentosa.
Sentosa Boardwalk or Cable Car
There are three ways to enter Sentosa: strolling at the boardwalk, riding the monorail, or riding the cable car. Sentosa Boardwalk is the best way if you’re on a budget because it’s free but has many displays perfect for picture taking. The monorail is more convenient but costs SGD4. If you want to enjoy the view overlooking the beautiful island of Sentosa, then ride the cable car, although it costs more.
Sentosa attractions, adds the Sentosa Online Store, wouldn’t be complete without entering one of the top theme parks in Asia: Universal Studios Singapore. Kids will have the time of their lives as they meet and take pictures with their favourite Universal Studios characters like the Minions, Shrek, Madagascar animals, and the cast of Sesame Street. Adults will also enjoy, though, with thrilling rides that will give them an adrenaline rush, including Battlestar Galactica, Revenge of the Mummy, and Transformers 4D.
Siloso and Palawan Beaches
If you love nature and want to enjoy some time having fun in the water, Sentosa also has some man-made beaches for you to visit! At Siloso Beach, there’s even a production called “Wings of Time” that will surely entertain people of all ages. It’s a magnificent show which incorporates water, fire, and laser effects to tell a story or magic, courage, and mystery.
Sentosa is just one of the many places you can visit in Singapore. With a lot of entertaining and fun options, you’ll definitely have the time of your life!
